LEUKONÖL LBA-2 is a wetting agent, suitable for many aqueous systems. It provides excellent emulsifying and stabilizing properties, specifically in the manufacturing process of emulsion polymers. LEUKONÖL LBA-2 is clearly soluble at pH 13. It is the ideal wetting agent for alkaline systems.

Properties/Applications

• Due to its outstanding emulsifying and stabilizing characteristics LEUKONÖL LBA-2 is applied during the manufacturing process of emulsion paints.
• The addition of LEUKONÖL LBA-2 can be made without problems since it is soluble with water within any proportion.
• Owing to its good ability to emulsify it is distributable in all aqueous systems.
• LEUKONÖL LBA-2 is soluble in aqueous mediums at pH 13 and hence an excellent wetting agent for all alkaline ranges.
• Addition can be made at any desired time since LEUKONÖL LBA-2 has a good solubility.
• However, the optimum addition rate must be determined in advance.
